This recognition comes at a time when only 22% of companies claim to be effective at content marketing. Customer intelligence and buyer insights are foundational components to creating content that resonates and compels buyers to take action. In fact, in our recent Understanding B2B Buyers Study, we found that the most popular use of personas is by the content marketing team to guide messaging and tone of voice.
What’s more, persona-based content increased customer engagement almost six-fold when targeting cold leads (10% versus 58%) according to DemandGen.
